Tidy at the end! I managed not to make a total mess by sieving the glazes into the smallest container I could get by with in the laundry sink. I had decided not to spend extra on a “test size” sieve (boy those things are expensive!) and no way was I going to sieve 200 grams of glaze mix into a 5 gallon bucket… But yes, now all is tidy and VERY satisfying.
Thanks! One of my birthday gifts from Nick was a label maker (ya think he was trying to tell me something?) which I’ve been using like crazy in my glaze room. I’m currently obsessed with glazing, thinking about various ways to glaze the pieces I have to learn the most about the glazes, yet compliment the shape of the wares. Then I keep reminding myself that this is glaze testing 101 and I just need to get some damn glaze fired! :-0
