oh 222, you’re ready… that’s pretty much the same firing profile i use. i only go down to 1500 and sometime wonder if it’s necessary to go that far but i’m reluctant to change it if there’s nothing wrong with it.
Yeah, I was being pretty (ok very) religious about following the MC6G schedule the first time around. I’ve seen the same schedule going down only to 1500. Once I’ve got a few firings under my belt, I think I’ll try going to 1500. We just got our first “firing kilns” electricity bill…ouch! Doesn’t help that the KWh price here just went up (from 15¢ to 19¢!).
