Our two prickly pear cacti in the front planter had been dormant for a while, but just recently they have both exploded with new growth!
I can see cactus quesadillas in our near future… yum yum!

Absolutely Linda and right tasty (and healthy) they are too!!! Look up ‘nopales’ for lots of great recipes. I usually just clean, boil then sauté them with spices, garlic and some tomato paste then make quesadillas or burritos.

Yes it does. So far they’ve been very small and not overly impressive. We stick to the pads…
