My mom recently asked what Coquito was.  We had heard about the wonders of Coquito, the Puerto Rican version of egg nog, from our realtor Steve and his wife Pam.  They told us that pretty much everyone in Puerto Rico has their own version of this holiday-time drink.  On the way to Boston, we picked up a bottle of Coquito, which was much appreciated by our hosts Naama and Bob (and also Fenster the cat).

As Nick and I also developed a taste for the concoction, we were very pleased when our next door neighbor Julie and her son Kevin recently stopped by with an offering of her home made Coquito (delivered complete with two cute little shot glasses).  In my broken Spanish I explained that yes, I knew what it was and moreover that ‘¡Me gusta mucho!’.
