Our Passionfruit vine (Parcha) is back in bloom. We were not the first to notice this, of course. The very welcome return of many Hummingbirds (Zumbadores in Puerto Rican Spanish) alerted us to the presence of the first few flowers. Now, the vine is covered with these strange beauties. The flowers stay closed in the morning, only opening in the afternoon. Fine timing for us to sit on the balcony and watch the (massive) bumble bees and hummingbirds happily feeding. Bring on the fruit!
