This weekend we went on a “drive around” to check out local examples of stamped concrete.  The last stop on our tour was Rincón’s El Faro.  We visited El Faro a few times as tourists to Rincón as it is a great spot to catch amazing sunsets.  However, the park closed down for renovations before we moved over.  Somehow we missed the grand re-opening of the park.

We were very impressed with the complete revamp of the park.  It is lush and green and there are lovely gazebos for shade and very nice pathways (stamped concrete!) ambling around the park.  The clifftop location affords striking views out to the ocean.  Very pretty! Hopefully, a concession stand and bathrooms are in the works.
