It looks like we will be getting our first taste of a tropical storm later this week. TD 15 has formed south of Puerto Rico and has just been upgraded to a tropical storm named Omar. Other areas of the island have already been receiving lots of rain from this system. We’ve had overcast skies yesterday but no serious rains so far. The computer models keep moving the storm further and further east, which is good news for those of us on the west coast but pretty bad for the south-east of Puerto Rico. Here, its acually been a nice sunny day so far, and I managed to sneak in a quick laundry in anticipation of the upcoming wet weather.
