Backup water tanks in PR typically come in 2 colours, bright blue or black. We needed one for storing our rainwater. Black would have been OK but locally we could only find the size and shape we wanted in bright blue. Once we’d bought and installed it we then had to figure out how to make it blend in better with its surroundings.
I was all for painting it green but Miri didn’t think that would work too well and she was probably right. Instead we decided to camouflage it! The next problem was where to buy a big sheet of camouflage netting from. As it turned out that was quite easy… eBay! 🙂
The netting sat in our storage room for a good long time but yesterday we finally got around to covering the tank with it. Ok, so its a bit of a stretch to say the tank has disappeared :-), but at least the eye isn’t immediately drawn to it now.
